Accessories for the Suzuki GSF600 Bandit

The Suzuki GSF600 Bandit is a versatile road bike suited to commuting, weekend rides and trips further afield. Those uses place different demands on the accessories you fit: a short run through town puts the emphasis on riding position and everyday practicality, while longer journeys make wind protection and luggage more worthwhile. The useful starting point is how you actually spend your time on the bike.

What riders usually fit to the Suzuki GSF600 Bandit

• Screens: worth considering when your Bandit regularly heads out onto open roads. A screen helps redirect some of the airflow away from your torso, making wind protection more relevant for motorway stretches and longer days out than for brief journeys across town.
• Handlebars: a way to tailor the riding position for the Bandit's mix of commuting and winding-road rides. The aim is a comfortable reach that keeps your arms relaxed and avoids awkward wrist angles, particularly when a weekday journey involves frequent stops and turns.
• Protectors: a practical addition to a Bandit used daily, with all the parking and low-speed manoeuvring that entails. They can help reduce damage to the areas they cover if the bike tips over, rather than offering protection against every possible impact.
• Panniers: useful when a weekend ride becomes an overnight trip. They give you somewhere to carry clothing and other essentials without relying entirely on a backpack, especially when travelling with a pillion and sharing the available luggage space between two people.
• Mirrors: for a Bandit ridden in town and on faster roads, a useful rearward view matters when changing lanes or joining traffic. Prioritise a clear view from your normal riding position rather than choosing a smaller mirror purely for its appearance.
