Accessories for the Suzuki GSX600 FU2

For everyday journeys and time out on the road, the Suzuki GSX600 FU2 accessories here focus on two practical areas: riding position and protection. Town riding involves frequent turns and low-speed manoeuvres, while longer outings mean spending more time with your hands and arms in the same position. Handlebars and protectors address different sides of that use, so it helps to separate what you want to change about your posture from what you want to protect.

What riders usually fit to the Suzuki GSX600 FU2

• Handlebars: when your GSX600 FU2 covers weekday town trips as well as winding roads at the weekend, the shape of the bar matters beyond its appearance. It affects your reach to the controls and the position of your wrists and arms. That is relevant both when turning through tight streets and when holding a steady riding position over a longer distance. Think of a bar change as a way to work on that riding position, rather than simply giving the front of the bike a different look.
• Protectors: regular town use means parking, wheeling the bike out of confined spaces and negotiating awkward entrances. These are situations where a loss of balance can lead to a stationary or low-speed drop. Protectors help limit scuffs and damage to the areas they cover, making them a practical consideration for a GSX600 FU2 used for daily transport. Their role is localised protection: a piece covering one area does not shield the rest of the bike from contact with the ground.
