Accessories for the Suzuki GZ 250 Marauder

The Suzuki GZ 250 Marauder is a cruiser suited to everyday journeys and unhurried rides on country roads. Accessories for this sort of riding are less about a sporting setup and more about making regular miles comfortable. Handlebar position, shelter from the wind and protection during town use are useful starting points when deciding what to fit to your Marauder.

What riders usually fit to the Suzuki GZ 250 Marauder

• Handlebars: on a cruiser used for both commuting and weekend outings, a comfortable reach matters throughout the ride. Changing the handlebar can help you find a more natural position for your hands without straining your shoulders. For town riding, that relaxed posture should also let you steer comfortably through slow turns and parking manoeuvres.
• Screens: a screen helps reduce direct wind pressure on your upper body when you take the Marauder out onto open roads. It has more to offer on sustained stretches between towns than on short journeys from one set of traffic lights to the next. This makes it a useful addition for leisurely rides that cover longer distances.
• Protectors: everyday town use means parking spaces, tight turns and plenty of low-speed manoeuvring. Protectors can help limit damage from minor knocks or falls, depending on the individual part and the area it covers. For an urban Marauder, their role is to look after the bike through those everyday situations.

For a GZ 250 Marauder ridden mainly around town, riding position and protection are sensible priorities. If your usual route takes you further along open country roads, reducing wind exposure becomes more worthwhile.
