Accessories for the Suzuki Intruder M1500

The Suzuki Intruder M1500 is a cruiser suited to unhurried road rides, from an evening outing to a longer weekend run. That makes riding position a useful starting point when choosing accessories: the way you reach the bars matters when you spend time in the saddle. Town riding brings different priorities, with low-speed turns, parking and moving the bike around between rides all worth considering.

What riders usually fit to the Suzuki Intruder M1500

• Handlebars: On a cruiser such as the Intruder M1500, a change of bars is about more than appearance. The reach affects where your hands sit and how you hold your upper body on the road. For longer outings, aim for a position that does not leave your arms stretched; for town use, think about comfort through slow turns too.
• Protectors: If your rides involve regular stops in town or manoeuvring into a tight garage, protection deserves a place alongside styling changes. Protectors can help limit damage from minor knocks to the areas they cover. On a cruiser used for relaxed outings, those moments spent parking are as relevant as the miles on the road.
• Covers and blankets: An Intruder kept for weekend rides can spend more time parked than being ridden. A cover helps shield it from dust and dirt between outings, making this category useful when the bike sits in a shared garage or is only brought out for occasional road trips.

Before settling on a different handlebar, note where your hands and elbows naturally rest when you sit on the bike. Use that as a starting point rather than letting looks alone guide the change.
