Accessories for SUZUKI VS 1400 INTRUDER

Accessories for your Suzuki VS 1400 Intruder

The Suzuki VS 1400 Intruder is a cruiser suited to relaxed town rides and unhurried days on the open road. Equipping it starts with how you sit on the bike and where you spend your riding time. Handlebar shape influences your reach to the grips, while a screen becomes more useful when longer stretches of exposed road feature regularly in your routes.

What riders usually fit to the Suzuki VS 1400 Intruder

• Handlebars: a natural starting point for adjusting both the riding position and the Intruder’s cruiser styling. Their height, width and sweep affect how far you reach and where your arms rest. That matters when turning through town as well as when settling into a longer road ride.
• Screens: help take wind pressure off your upper body when a short outing turns into an afternoon on open roads. For an Intruder used beyond town, a screen adds a practical touring element to the cruiser setup, rather than making every accessory choice purely about appearance.
• Mirrors: contribute to the custom look while keeping rearward visibility a priority. If your VS 1400 Intruder regularly moves between urban traffic and country roads, mirror positioning should give you a view past your arms. This is particularly relevant when changing the handlebars at the same time.
• Protectors: help limit damage to the areas they protect in minor knocks or a stationary fall. They make sense on an everyday Intruder when parking, turning in a confined garage or moving the bike through tight spaces is a routine part of getting out for a ride.

When changing the riding position, settle on the handlebars first. Your resulting posture also matters when considering wind protection and setting the mirrors for a clear view behind.
