Accessories for the Yamaha FZ750

The Yamaha FZ750 is a road-going sports bike, so winding roads and weekend rides provide a useful starting point when choosing accessories. Longer journeys bring wind protection and riding position into focus, while regular town use makes the controls and protection for exposed areas more relevant. The aim is to suit the way you actually ride without losing the bike's sporting character.

What riders usually fit to the Yamaha FZ750

• Screens: useful for managing airflow when a ride includes faster roads between the twistier sections. Think about coverage in relation to your riding position on the FZ750, particularly if short outings are giving way to longer days in the saddle.
• Handlebars and levers: worth considering when your riding mixes open roads with town traffic. Hand position and finger reach to the levers matter when steering through bends, but also during the repeated clutch and brake use of stop-start journeys.
• Protectors, crash bungs and bars: different pieces address different exposed areas, helping guard against scuffs or impacts. They are particularly relevant when your FZ750 doubles as everyday transport and parking or manoeuvring in confined spaces becomes part of the routine.
• Fairing and styling: a way to refresh exterior details while keeping the FZ750's sports-bike appearance coherent. For a road bike you want to keep looking tidy, focusing on individual areas can make more sense than planning a complete visual transformation.
• Fasteners: worth attention when working through the fixings of exterior components. On a faired sports bike, these smaller parts are part of a thorough refresh, rather than leaving all the attention to the larger, more immediately visible panels.

For longer road rides, put airflow and riding position first. If your routes regularly finish in busy streets, give the controls and protection for low-speed manoeuvres equal consideration.
