Accessories for YAMAHA T-MAX 560

Yamaha TMAX 560 accessories for commuting and open roads

The Yamaha TMAX 560 is a sporty maxi-scooter suited to everyday commuting as well as weekend road rides. How you split your time between those journeys helps set your priorities. Regular motorway stretches put wind protection high on the list, while busy streets and winding roads bring your riding position and controls into focus.

What riders usually fit to the Yamaha TMAX 560

• Screens: useful for taking some of the airflow away from your upper body on faster roads. If your TMAX commute includes a long dual-carriageway section, wind protection deserves more attention than it would for short trips entirely within town.
• Handlebar accessories: the area around the grips shapes how you sit and reach the controls. On a TMAX used for both urban traffic and longer outings, a relaxed arm position matters more than a change made purely for appearance.
• Levers: stop-start traffic means frequent use of both brake levers. For everyday scooter riding, finger reach and comfort at the controls are worth considering, particularly when your route involves a succession of junctions, traffic lights and queues.
• Mirrors: keeping track of traffic behind is important when moving between lanes on city approaches. Choose with the view from your normal riding position in mind, rather than treating the mirrors solely as a styling detail.
• Protectors: a practical addition for a TMAX that gets parked and manoeuvred several times a day. They help limit damage to the areas they cover in minor knocks or a stationary tip-over.

TMAX 560 versions and model years

The Yamaha TMAX 560 has changed over the years, with differences between the 2020-2021, 2022-2024 and 2025-2026 versions. Parts such as handlebar components, mirrors and screens therefore do not fit every version interchangeably. Choose your scooter’s year on this page to see only the accessories that fit yours.
