Accessories for YAMAHA XV750 VIRAGO

Yamaha XV750 Virago accessories for relaxed riding

The Yamaha XV750 Virago is a cruiser suited to leisurely road rides, weekend outings and everyday trips through town. Choosing accessories for it is about balancing its custom style with how you actually ride. For longer days out, wind protection and a comfortable riding position deserve attention; around town, a clear rearward view and protection against minor knocks are useful priorities.

What riders usually fit to the Yamaha XV750 Virago

• Mirrors: a way to shape the Virago’s custom look while keeping rearward visibility central to the choice. If your riding mixes urban traffic with weekend trips, you want a useful view behind when changing lanes or keeping track of other riders in your group.
• Screens: help divert some of the airflow away from your upper body. They make particular sense on a Virago used for longer country-road rides or motorway links, where spending more time at a steady cruising speed makes wind protection more relevant than on short town journeys.
• Protection: protectors can help limit damage to the areas they cover in minor knocks or a stationary drop. For a cruiser that doubles as everyday transport, they are a practical consideration for parking, moving the bike and making low-speed manoeuvres in town.
• Handlebars: changing the bars can alter hand position and reach. On a bike used for relaxed outings like the Virago, the aim is a comfortable relationship between your arms and the controls without making tight turns or urban manoeuvres feel awkward.

Consider handlebars and mirrors together if you plan to change both. Your rearward view should work from your normal riding position, rather than requiring you to shift your body each time you check behind.
