Accessories for the Yamaha YP 125 R X-Max

The Yamaha YP 125 R X-Max is a scooter suited to urban journeys and the roads connecting town with the surrounding area. Your daily routine shapes what is worth fitting: a regular commute puts wind protection higher on the list, while errands and street parking make luggage and security useful priorities. Start with how you actually use your scooter rather than adding accessories for their own sake.

What riders usually fit to the Yamaha YP 125 R X-Max

• Screens: A screen helps reduce the wind reaching your upper body, particularly on the more exposed stretches of a journey into town. For year-round commuting on the X-Max, that protection matters beyond the short, low-speed trips between nearby streets.
• Luggage: Additional luggage gives you somewhere to organise everyday belongings when the ride includes work, shopping or several errands. It is a practical addition to a commuting scooter when you need to carry more on the way home than you brought out in the morning.
• Phone mounts: Navigation is useful when your journey takes you across unfamiliar parts of town or to a different destination each day. A mount positions your phone for directions; set the route before riding and stop somewhere safe before making any changes.
• Covers and leg covers: These serve different parts of scooter life: a storage cover helps shelter the parked bike, while a leg cover helps shield your legs from the cold while riding. The latter is particularly relevant to regular early-morning commutes in cooler weather.
• Security locks: Leaving the X-Max on the street throughout the working day makes parking security a regular consideration, not just an occasional one. A lock adds a barrier against theft, and using it during shorter stops fits naturally into a routine of shopping and errands.
