Accessories for the Zero S

The Zero S suits daily commuting as well as leisure rides on open roads. Its naked layout makes wind protection worth considering when your journey takes you beyond town, while regular urban use puts protection and luggage higher on the list. A useful setup starts with the riding you actually do: short city trips call for different priorities from longer weekend outings.

What riders usually fit to the Zero S

• Screens: A screen helps deflect some of the airflow away from your upper body, which matters on an unfaired bike such as the Zero S. It is particularly useful when your commute includes faster roads or your weekend route keeps you out for longer.
• Protectors: Tight parking spaces and low-speed manoeuvres are part of everyday city riding. Protection for exposed areas can help limit scuffs and damage from minor falls, making it a practical consideration for a Zero S that sees regular commuting duty.
• Tail tidies: A more compact number plate mounting arrangement can give the rear of the Zero S a cleaner appearance, complementing its naked styling. This is primarily a visual change rather than an upgrade aimed at making longer journeys more comfortable.
• Panniers: Carrying your belongings on the bike means you need not rely on a rucksack for every trip to work. Luggage also makes sense for a lightly packed weekend away on the Zero S, keeping the load off your back while you ride.
• Mudguards: Helping to contain spray from the wheels is especially useful when the Zero S is everyday transport rather than a dry-weather option. For urban journeys on wet roads, mudguards serve a practical purpose that matters well beyond the appearance of the bike.
