Accessories for the Zontes 368D

The Zontes 368D is a scooter suited to everyday city journeys and commutes that mix local streets with faster roads. Those two settings put the focus on different accessories: controls and rearward visibility matter in stop-start traffic, while wind protection becomes more relevant once you spend longer on open stretches. Start with the part of your regular ride that asks most of you.

What riders usually fit to the Zontes 368D

• Brake levers: a city commute means using the brakes repeatedly at junctions, traffic lights and queues. On the 368D, the way your fingers meet the levers is therefore a practical consideration, not just a styling detail. Your normal hand position during those repeated stops deserves particular attention if much of your riding takes place in busy traffic.
• Mirrors: keeping track of vehicles behind you is part of the daily routine when approaching junctions or joining another lane. For urban riding on the 368D, mirror position in relation to your arms matters because it affects your rearward view from your usual riding position. The useful starting point is what you can see, rather than how the mirrors change the scooter’s appearance.
• Windscreens: wind protection becomes more useful when your commute includes dual carriageways or motorway stretches. A screen helps divert airflow away from the rider, making it particularly relevant to a 368D used beyond town. Time spent on faster roads is a better guide to its importance than journey distance alone: a short motorway section is different from several miles of slow streets.

For predominantly urban use, put the controls and rearward view first. When faster roads make up a substantial part of your daily journey, give wind protection more weight in your choice of accessories.
