Accessories for the Zontes 368R

The Zontes 368R is a naked bike suited to weekday commuting and weekend rides on winding roads. Those two settings put the focus on the handlebar controls and your view of the traffic behind you. Frequent stops around town make the way you use the levers particularly relevant, while time on open roads brings your riding position and rearward view into the picture. Accessories here serve a practical purpose as well as changing the bike’s appearance.

What riders usually fit to the Zontes 368R

The accessories listed for this model include levers and mirrors, with Puig among the brands represented. Each addresses a different part of that daily riding routine.

• Levers: Stop-start commuting means repeatedly reaching for the controls, so the way your fingers meet the levers matters on daily journeys. On a twisty-road ride, that same contact comes into focus as you prepare to brake for the next bend. When considering a change on your 368R, think about your gloved hand resting on the grip and the movement needed to reach the lever, rather than judging the part by its appearance alone.
• Mirrors: Around town, a useful rearward view helps you keep track of approaching traffic before a lane change. Out on the road, it helps you stay aware of vehicles behind and keep sight of other riders in your group. On a naked bike such as the 368R, mirrors also have a noticeable effect on the handlebar silhouette. Keep the view from your normal riding position central to your decision: your shoulders and elbows should not dominate the reflection when you settle onto the bike.
