The Öhlins T36PR1C1LB rear shock absorber for the BMW S 1000 R 2014-2020 is designed to improve chassis feedback. Built around TTX technology and drawing on the brand’s MotoGP experience, it takes the TTX36 design a step further.
- Revised adjusters: a new adjustment needle in the compression and rebound adjusters brings improvements over the standard TTX36 MkII.
- Oil flow control: modified oil restriction delivers more precise operation.
- Updated main piston: designed to improve traction and rider control.
- More consistent response: greater stability with fewer variations in behaviour, as well as reduced variation in performance between individual shock absorbers.
- Further development: lower weight and a wider adjustment range.
