Puig Angled Valves

Swap the straight valve in the rim for an angled one and the nozzle points sideways: you can inflate the tyre or check the pressure without fighting the brake disc or the fork. Puig angled valves are also a splash of colour on the wheel, in seven finishes.

Questions before you order

What diameter do I need?

Puig makes them in two sizes: Ø 8.3 mm (part number 8100) and Ø 11 mm (part number 5591). It is the diameter of the hole in the rim that the valve passes through, and it has to match. Measure the valve you have now with a calliper and compare it with the product page.

Do they fit any wheel?

A separate valve fits tubeless rims. If your wheel runs an inner tube, the valve is part of the tube and cannot be changed on its own. If you are not sure which applies to you, ask us in the chat before ordering.

Which colours are there?

Black, silver, red, blue, yellow, orange and green; the last letter of the part number tells you (5591N is black, 5591R red and 8100G yellow). If you want to repeat the shade elsewhere on the bike, Puig bar ends and wheel tapes come in similar colours.

Can I fit it at home?

The job is done with the wheel off and the tyre bead released on one side, so it is normally best left to a tyre shop with a changing machine; the wheel then has to be balanced. When you finish, check for leaks with soapy water at the base and the thread, and always fit the cap. And for the manufacturer's other parts, the whole range is under Puig.
