Puig off-road Footpegs

Puig off-road footpegs are wide aluminium pedals, with stainless steel tips according to the brand, for a firm footing in enduro or adventure boots even in mud. Unlike almost everything else from Puig, they are not made per model: they are all universal, and what adapts them to your bike is the part that connects them to it.

Universal, but with an adapter

The footpeg is the same for any bike, but in most cases you will also need the adapter for your model, which is bought separately. That is the part that does change from one bike to another: you will find it in the fixed adapters for Puig footpegs, and each adapter's product page lists the compatible bikes. Before ordering, check that the combination of footpeg and adapter is the one your bike needs.

Ten designs and several colours

There are ten different designs, with the measurements and tooth pattern of each on its product page. All of them come in black and several add coloured anodised finishes: blue, orange, green, red or lilac, designed to match the bike or other Puig parts.

What to look at when choosing

• The platform: a wider one spreads the support better with a stiff boot, and a narrower one gives your foot more freedom to move.
• The teeth: the more pronounced they are, the better they grip in mud, but the sooner they wear the sole.
• Fitting: when tightening, use thread-locking fluid, because the vibration of an off-road bike works bolts loose.

If you are after a different style of footpeg or one for the road, go to the Puig footrests or to motorcycle footrests from all brands, and for the rest of the brand's range, to Puig.
