The black Puig PRO 2.0 crash protectors protect the engine and frame on several Yamaha YZF-R1 variants from 2015-2026. Their racing-inspired styling features a distinctly aerodynamic design.
You can customise them with front and rear elastic sections in other colours, available to purchase separately.
- Central body: made from impact- and abrasion-resistant polyamide.
- Flexible sections: front and rear thermoplastic elastomer pieces help absorb potential impacts with the rider.
- Side winglets: their conical shape helps absorb part of the impact in a fall.
- Width: the protectors do not extend beyond the handlebars.
- Ground contact: they touch down after the footpegs.
- Weight: 945 g.

If you are replacing a Pro protector, the PRO 2.0 is compatible with all applications that used the previous protector.
