The Puig Z-Racing screen for the 2015-2019 Yamaha YZF-R1 and 2016-2019 YZF-R1M replaces the original fairing screen to improve aerodynamic protection while retaining a sporty look. Its double-bubble shape directs airflow away from your helmet and upper torso.
Two side channels guide air outwards, helping to ease pressure on your shoulders. Puig developed the range using virtual wind-tunnel analysis and reports an average aerodynamic improvement of 12.7% when riding upright and up to 61% in a racing position, compared with original screens.
