The red Puig Z-Racing screen gives the original fairing of the 2004-2007 Honda CBR1000RR Fireblade a sportier look. It is designed to improve rider comfort by reducing air pressure while riding.
Its double-bubble shape directs airflow away from the helmet and upper torso, while side channels guide air outwards to ease pressure on the shoulders. Puig developed the design using a virtual wind tunnel and reports an average aerodynamic improvement of 12.7% when riding upright and up to 61% in a racing position, compared with the original screen.
