Puig Rear Sprocket Trim Rings

The Puig rear sprocket trim ring is a coloured ring fitted over the rear sprocket of the TMAX that makes it stand out on the transmission side. It is one of the most discreet customising parts: it changes nothing in how the bike works, only the look of an area that does little to catch the eye as standard.

Two part numbers for the same bikes

Both fit the Yamaha TMAX 530 from 2017 to 2019 and the TMAX 560 from 2020 to 2026:

• 22693: nine colours, including lilac and titanium.
• 9854: five colours, blue, black, gold, silver and red.

If your TMAX 530 is from 2012 to 2016, these rings are not in the range, so check the year before choosing.

Choosing the colour and matching it

The colour is set by the last letter: 22693N is black, 22693O gold, 22693Y titanium and 22693L lilac. The easiest approach is to repeat it on another part in the area, such as the sprocket cover or the clutch cover, which come in almost the same finishes; to add white, blue or yellow on the bodywork, look at the T-MAX sticker kits. Because the sprocket picks up dirt from the transmission, clean the ring with water and mild soap and avoid harsh solvents that could dull the colour. The colour scheme can be completed from the rest of the Puig catalogue.
