Puig Windshield Risers

A windscreen riser lets you raise or lower the screen of the bike depending on what you need on each stretch, without having to swap it for another. Puig has two manual lifting mechanisms, both for touring adventure bikes.

The two part numbers

• Yamaha Ténéré 700 (2019-2026, including the Explore, Extreme and World Raid versions), part number 3732N: according to Puig, it lets you move the screen without tools, with about 100 mm of travel, and works with both the original screen and Puig's Touring screen.
• Honda CRF1000L Africa Twin (2016-2019), part number 3493N.

The idea is to raise the screen on the motorway or in bad weather, so the air passes over your helmet, and lower it in town or off the road, where it helps to see better and let more air in. The mechanism is not a screen but the bracket that holds it: it fits with the one you already have.
