Puig resistors for LED indicators help adjust the flash rate when changing indicators alters the current in the circuit. This can happen on motorcycles with a bimetallic flasher relay, whose flash rate depends on the current flowing through it.
If your motorcycle has an electronic relay, a change in current should not affect the flash rate. If you are unsure which type is fitted, install the indicator first and check how it flashes.
- Connection: one resistor is fitted in parallel on the right-hand circuit and another on the left-hand circuit.
- Material: aluminium.
- Weight: 22 g.
- Bulbs: if replacing a bulb changes its wattage, use one with the same wattage as the original.
Before choosing a resistor, check how many indicators you intend to replace: the manufacturer specifies a different resistor for changing two indicators than for changing all four.
