SW-MOTECH Handguards

SW-MOTECH handguards are shields fitted to the handlebar in front of the grips and levers to hold back wind, rain, branches and small knocks. The brand offers them in two versions, Sport and Adventure, and each part comes ready for a specific model.

Sport or Adventure

• Sport: the lighter approach, for riders who stay mostly on tarmac and want to keep the wind and rain off their hands.
• Adventure: the sturdier protection of the two, designed for tracks, branches and slow drops with a loaded bike.

If your riding is mixed and your trips take you down dirt roads, the Adventure leaves your fingers less exposed when the terrain gets difficult.

Bikes with a kit

There are handguards, in both versions, for three latest-generation adventure bikes: the Kawasaki KLE500 from 2026, the BMW F 450 GS from 2025 and the VOGE DS625X from 2024 and DS800X Rally from 2025. All are mid-capacity bikes that move between tarmac and track, exactly the use the range is aimed at.

If your bike is a different one, motorcycle handguards has the universal and model-specific ones from Puig, and how to check that they do not touch the screen or the tank. The rest of the brand is in SW-MOTECH, and if you change the bar position with risers, check beforehand that the handguard still clears.
