SW-MOTECH Saddlebags and Side Bags

The SW-MOTECH saddlebags and side bags are the soft alternative to hard cases: lighter, free of hard edges and designed above all for nakeds, retro bikes, customs and mid-size adventure bikes. There are kits by bike, with the bags and their carriers in the same order, and universal saddlebags.

Which bag your bike needs

• Legend Gear with V-LOC carriers: kits from 11 to 16 litres per side, in a classic style, for bikes such as the Honda CMX1100 Rebel and CL500, the Kawasaki Z650RS, the BMW R 12 S/nineT, the Triumph Speed Twin or the Ducati Scrambler.
• WP with V-LOC carriers: the same sizes in a waterproof version, for those bikes and others such as the BMW F 450 GS, the Honda CB750 Hornet or the Triumph Trident 660.
• SysBag WP with adapters: large bags for adventure bikes, such as the Kawasaki KLE500, the CFMOTO 800MT-X and 1000MT-X or the MV Agusta Enduro Veloce, and the SysBag WP M with a universal adapter.
• PRO BLAZE H, 20 litres: saddlebags for sports bikes and nakeds such as the Triumph Trident 660 and 800 and Speed Triple 1200, or the Aprilia RS 660 Extrema.
• LC and LH: universal Legend Gear LC1 (9.8 L) and LC2 (13.5 L), and LH1 (19.5 L) and LH2 (25.5 L) for Harley-Davidson, Honda and Indian customs.

Two figures, two bags

In the kits, a double figure such as 16/11 means the two bags of the pair, which are not always the same size; if you see a single figure, such as 16 L, check the product page for what the kit includes.

The carrier

A loaded saddlebag should rest on a side carrier so that it does not hang over the wheel. In the V-LOC kits the carrier is included; with the LH1 and LH2 saddlebags and the universal ones, check the product page to see whether it comes with them or has to be added. The carriers for each system are in side carriers for cases and bags; to compare with tank bags, rear bags or backpacks, go to motorcycle backpacks and bags, and for the rest of the range, to SW-MOTECH.
