SW-MOTECH Skid Plate for Honda CRF1000L Africa Twin (15-19) in Silver MSS.01.622.10002/S

The silver SW-MOTECH engine guard for the Honda CRF1000L Africa Twin 2015-2019 is designed to protect the engine when riding off-road. It replaces the original guard and provides broader coverage against stones and impacts.

Its long profile rises at the sides to shield the underside as well as parts of the header pipes and exhaust. If the guard makes contact with the ground, an additional frame mounting point helps distribute the force between the mountings and the bike’s steel frame.

• Thickness: aluminium alloy measures 5 mm at the base and 4 mm at the sides; the original guard’s base is 2.5 mm thick.
• Impact damping: 8 mm hard-rubber components absorb and redistribute forces towards the mounting points.
• Oil changes: two openings give access to both drain plugs without removing the guard.
• Ventilation: side cut-outs allow airflow and reduce weight.
• Stand compatibility: works with the Honda side stand or the SW-MOTECH centre stand.
• Fitting: instructions and mounting hardware are included.

It fits Standard, ABS and DCT versions, but not the DCT version equipped with a gear lever.
