SW-MOTECH Tank Bag Mounts

The PRO tank ring is the SW-MOTECH part that secures a tank bag to your bike: a bike-specific ring on which the bag is placed and removed. It is bought separately from the bag and chosen by bike, so the first job is to find the one that matches yours.

One ring per bike, or per several

There are dozens of rings, with part numbers starting TRT.00.787. Some are for a single model, such as the Yamaha MT-07 (20-24), the Ténéré 700 (19-24), the Husqvarna Norden 901, the CFMOTO 800MT, the Ducati DesertX, the Honda CMX500 Rebel or the BMW R 1300 GS. Others fit several bikes at once, and the name warns you: «several Honda models», «Kawasaki, Suzuki and Yamaha» or «BMW, Ducati, KTM and Triumph». For those, the exact list of models and years is on the product page.

Which bags go on top

The ring is the base of the PRO-range SW-MOTECH tank bags, such as the Micro, Daypack, City or Sport. The magnetic bags and the ones that strap on do not use it.

Before you order

• Model, year and version: nearly every name carries the bike's year range in brackets.
• If you change bikes you will need the ring for the new one, unless both appear on the same product page.
• Add your bike to your garage and the strip above the products will tell you how many rings suit it and let you see only those.

For other kinds of bag, rear or side, go to motorcycle backpacks and bags, and for the rest of the brand, to SW-MOTECH.
