SW-MOTECH Top Cases with Carrier Included

The SW-MOTECH top cases with carrier included are kits for one specific bike: the case and the carrier that fits it, all in the same order. There are three cases, the aluminium TRAX ADV at 38 L, the DUSC at 41 and 55 L and the URBAN ABS from 16 to 29 L, and which one you pick depends mostly on the type of bike.

Which case goes with which bike

• TRAX ADV 38 L, black or silver: the case for adventure and travel bikes, such as the Yamaha Ténéré 700, the BMW R 1250 GS, the Suzuki V-Stroms, the Kawasaki Versys 650, the Honda NT1100 and NC750X or the Moto Guzzi Stelvio.
• DUSC 41 and 55 L, black: for travelling with plenty of volume. The 55 L turns up for the Suzuki GSX-S1000GX, the BMW F 850/900 GS Adventure and R 1250 GS or the Aprilia Tuareg 660; the 41 L, for the V-Stroms, the F 850 GS, the Stelvio or the BMW R 1300 R and RS.
• URBAN ABS 16-29 L, black: the most compact, for nakeds and sports bikes, such as the Honda CB500F, the KTM 1290 Super Duke R, the Suzuki Hayabusa, the Yamaha MT-09 and Tracer 9 or the BMW R 12 G/S.

Capacity and your helmet

If you want to store a full-face helmet, start from the TRAX ADV (38 L) or the DUSC (41 and 55 L); the URBAN ABS falls short for that and suits lighter loads. Litres say less than the shape of the inside, so if your helmet is large or a flip-up, check the dimensions on the product page. The general guide to capacities is in motorcycle luggage.

With the carrier or without it

If you already have a SW-MOTECH luggage rack, you can buy just the case, which is sold on its own in the top cases section. And if you also want luggage at the sides, the equivalent is side cases with carriers included.
