The HIGHSIDER pro Control-Box CB1 lets you use a daytime running light on a motorcycle without a light switch. It manages the changeover with the main headlight so the daytime running light switches off automatically when the headlight comes on, as required by regulations.
The unit fits between the motorcycle’s electrical system and either an LED headlight with an integrated daytime running light or a conventional headlight with a separate one. The parking light operated through the ignition lock continues to work.
- Main beam: positive connection via the yellow wire.
- Dipped beam: positive connection via the blue wire.
- Parking light: positive connection via the white wire.
- Earth: negative connection via the black wire.
- Weight: 34 g.
Installation also requires a separate on/off switch, which is not included. The rear light must remain on at all times, connected to an ignition-switched positive supply.
