Accessories for the Aprilia RS 660

Twisty roads and occasional track days are natural territory for the Aprilia RS 660. This sports bike can also be part of your everyday commute, so useful additions are not just about appearance. Wind protection, secure footing and protection against minor spills deserve different priorities depending on how you ride.

What riders usually fit to the Aprilia RS 660

• Screens: Wind protection matters on longer road rides as well as when you tuck in along a circuit straight. For an RS 660, think about the position you actually spend time in: sitting more upright on the road puts you differently behind the screen than a track-riding crouch.
• Protectors and crash protection: These aim to limit damage from stationary drops or low-speed spills, whether you are manoeuvring around town or in the paddock. On a faired sports bike such as the RS 660, protecting exposed areas is worth considering before concentrating on cosmetic changes.
• Footpegs: Your feet provide an important point of support when cornering and changing position on the bike. Footpegs are therefore worth attention when preparing an RS 660 for winding-road rides or track days, where moving around on the bike is part of the riding.
• Number plate holders: These focus on the finish around the tail, complementing the RS 660's sporting appearance. Treat them as a styling choice rather than a change to riding comfort: they serve a different purpose from the screen or the parts supporting your riding position.
