Accessories for the Aprilia RS 660 Factory

The Aprilia RS 660 Factory is a sports bike suited to winding roads and the occasional track day. That mix makes wind protection, protection against damage and rider contact points useful areas to focus on. How you equip yours should reflect where you spend your riding time: longer road outings place different demands on your riding position from sessions on a circuit.

What riders usually fit to the Aprilia RS 660 Factory

• Screens: Wind protection becomes more noticeable on the miles between your favourite stretches of bends. On the RS 660 Factory, screen shape needs to work with your riding position, whether you sit more upright on the road or tuck down towards the tank on track.
• Protectors and crash bungs: These can help limit damage to the areas they cover if the bike falls. For a sports bike used on both road and track, protection is worth considering not just for riding mishaps, but also for low-speed drops while parking or manoeuvring around the paddock.
• Footrests: Your boots need a secure point of support as you brake, link bends and move your body across the bike. Road riding puts the emphasis on a leg position you can sustain over longer distances; track use makes room to move around particularly important.
• Handlebars and levers: Hand position and lever reach deserve attention when your riding combines twisty roads with everyday journeys. These contact points affect how you operate the controls and the position of your wrists, especially when you spend longer on the bike rather than riding short circuit sessions.

For mostly road use, give wind protection and a comfortable riding position priority. If track days become a regular part of your riding, focus more closely on protection and unrestricted movement on the bike.
