Accessories for the BMW S 1000 RR

Winding roads and track days are natural territory for the BMW S 1000 RR. As a sports bike, it puts riding position, wind protection and protection for exposed components high on the accessory list. How you divide your time between road rides and circuit sessions helps determine what deserves attention first: everyday road use and a day on track do not place quite the same demands on your bike.

What riders usually fit to the BMW S 1000 RR

• Screens: help direct airflow away from the rider. On the S 1000 RR, coverage matters both when tucked over the tank on a circuit and when sitting more upright during the road miles between bends.
• Protectors and crash protection: are worth considering on a sports bike used for road riding or track days. They help limit damage to the areas they cover in a fall, rather than making the bike immune to damage.
• Levers: affect an important point of contact when braking and using the clutch. For rides involving frequent corners and changes of pace, lever shape matters to how your gloved fingers rest on and operate the controls.
• Footrests: support your feet as you shift your body position through a sequence of bends. Their position and contact surface matter on the S 1000 RR, whether the priority is a sporting stance or comfort over longer road rides.
• Tail tidies: change the appearance of the number plate mounting area on a road-going S 1000 RR. They address the rear-end styling rather than the protection and rider-support priorities of a track-focused setup.

Choosing parts for your S 1000 RR's year

The S 1000 RR has changed over the years, with 2009-2018, 2019-2022, 2023-2024 and 2025-2026 versions to consider. Parts such as screens, crash protectors and other protective covers do not fit every version. Choose your bike's year on this page so that it shows only the accessories that fit yours.
