Accessories for the Ducati 1098 Biposto

The Ducati 1098 Biposto is a sports bike suited to winding roads and track days. Accessories for this kind of riding tend to focus on wind protection, comfortable operation of the controls and protecting exposed parts rather than carrying luggage. How much time you spend tucked in on a circuit or riding more upright on the road helps shape those priorities.

What riders usually fit to the Ducati 1098 Biposto

• Screens: Screen shape matters when your riding position changes between a low tuck and a more upright stance on road sections. On the 1098 Biposto, it is worth considering where you want the airflow directed during both spirited rides and the miles between favourite roads.
• Protectors: These can help limit damage to the areas they cover in a scrape or fall. For a sports bike used on the road as well as at track days, protecting exposed parts is a practical consideration alongside appearance.
• Levers: Lever shape and reach affect how your fingers operate the brake and clutch from a sporting riding position. On a twisting route with frequent use of the controls, a comfortable fit for your hands deserves more attention than colour alone.
• Fasteners: On a faired sports bike, visible fixings contribute to the overall finish. Replacement fasteners can be useful when renewing fittings during maintenance or tidying the appearance of the Ducati without making a more substantial change to its bodywork.
• Number plate holders: A different holder can give the rear a less cluttered appearance that complements the Ducati’s sporting lines. For a 1098 Biposto that also sees road use, the installation must retain the equipment and plate positioning required for legal riding.
