Accessories for the Kawasaki Z750R

The Kawasaki Z750R is a sports-focused naked bike suited to everyday journeys and weekends on winding roads. Setting it up for both is about more than appearance. Wind exposure, your riding position and protection for exposed parts all deserve attention, particularly when a favourite back-road route starts with a motorway journey.

What riders usually fit to the Kawasaki Z750R

• Screens: sustained open-road riding makes wind pressure more noticeable on a naked bike. A screen helps redirect some of that airflow, making it a useful addition when your Z750R handles longer commutes or fast-road stretches on the way to quieter, twistier routes.
• Protectors and crash protection: exposed areas are worth considering on a Z750R used throughout the week. Protective accessories can help limit certain types of damage in a fall, which is relevant when daily riding involves parking spaces and low-speed manoeuvres as well as open roads.
• Handlebars and levers: these contact points influence how naturally you reach the controls. For town riding, comfortable operation matters through repeated stops; on winding roads, a suitable hand and arm position helps avoid unnecessary tension as you steer, brake and change gear.
• Footrests: foot support matters through a sequence of bends, but knee position also counts on the journey home. When changing the footrests on your Z750R, balance the support you want for spirited road riding against the comfort you need for everyday distances.
• Number plate holders: the tail is a prominent part of a naked bike's appearance. A different plate holder offers a way to change that rear-end finish, making sense if your priority is a sportier-looking Z750R rather than alterations to your riding position.

For a Z750R that covers both commuting and weekend miles, prioritise the things you feel while riding: airflow, reach and foot support. Styling changes can follow once the bike suits the journeys you actually make.
