Accessories for the Yamaha SR 125 SE

The Yamaha SR 125 SE is a classic-style motorcycle suited to everyday town journeys and unhurried rides on country roads. Accessories for this kind of riding are more about managing wind exposure, finding a comfortable riding position and keeping traffic in view than creating a sports-focused setup. Where you spend most of your riding time provides a useful starting point.

What riders usually fit to the Yamaha SR 125 SE

• Screens: A screen helps take wind pressure off your upper body when your route leaves town behind. On the SR 125 SE, that makes it particularly relevant to longer country-road outings rather than short trips spent mainly moving between junctions and traffic lights.
• Handlebars: Handlebar shape influences your reach and the position of your arms. For the SR's mix of town riding and relaxed outings, a natural reach matters: you want to steer through urban streets without holding your shoulders in an awkward position throughout the journey.
• Mirrors: Keeping track of following traffic is especially important when changing lanes on the daily commute. Once you head out of town, mirrors also help you monitor approaching vehicles before joining another road, while keeping your attention primarily on what lies ahead.
• Protectors: Regular town use involves parking, wheeling the bike through tight spaces and making low-speed manoeuvres. Protective accessories can help limit scuffs or damage to the areas they cover, making them a practical consideration for an SR 125 SE used day after day.

For frequent country-road rides, wind protection and riding position are sensible priorities. If most journeys stay within town, rearward visibility and protection against everyday parking mishaps deserve more attention.
