Accessories for the Yamaha YBR 125 Custom

The Yamaha YBR 125 Custom suits everyday town riding and relaxed outings on country roads. Its custom style makes riding position and appearance natural priorities, while a commute that includes open roads gives wind protection a practical role. The right focus depends on whether your routine means short urban trips or longer stretches away from town.

What riders usually fit to the Yamaha YBR 125 Custom

• Handlebars: These let you adjust your hand position and reach, shaping how you sit on the YBR during everyday rides. For a custom used around town, that means balancing a relaxed riding position with comfortable control when turning through streets and manoeuvring into parking spaces.
• Screens: A useful addition when your route takes you beyond town, where you spend longer exposed to the wind. A screen helps redirect some of that airflow, making wind protection more relevant to a regular country-road commute than to a short ride around the neighbourhood.
• Mirrors: Keeping following traffic in view matters when changing lanes or riding through busy streets on your YBR. Mirrors also contribute to its custom look, so the aim is to retain that character without sacrificing a useful rearward view past your shoulders.
• Protectors: Daily urban use involves parking, pushing the bike into tight spaces and plenty of low-speed manoeuvres. Protectors can help limit damage from minor knocks to the areas they cover, giving them a practical purpose on a YBR used for routine transport.

Choosing parts for the 2008-2013 and 2014-2016 versions

The Yamaha YBR 125 Custom has changed over the years, so the 2008-2013 and 2014-2016 versions do not share every accessory fitment. Handlebars and screens are particularly relevant examples: not all fit both versions. Choose your bike’s year on this page to display only the accessories that fit your YBR.
