Puig lambda sensor protectors

The lambda sensor measures the oxygen in the exhaust gases so the control unit can adjust the mixture, and on the BMW R 1300 GS it is in plain view on the exhaust system. A blow from a stone can damage it, turn on the fault light and make the engine run worse. Puig's lambda sensor protectors are two aluminium parts in a textured black finish that cover it on each side.

One per side, for a single bike

There are two part numbers: 22254N, for the right side, and 22255N, for the left. They are sold separately, so if you want to cover both sensors you need to order both. They are specific to the R 1300 GS (2023-2026).

They make most sense if you leave the tarmac, where loose stones are a real risk. They go well with the Puig skid plate, which covers the underside of the engine, and with the Puig frame sliders. More accessories from the maker for the GS are in Puig.
