Puig lower cardan protectors

The BMW R 1300 GS puts its power to the rear wheel through a driveshaft, a sealed shaft with no chain to lubricate or tension, but whose lower part is exposed to stones and knocks when you ride on tracks. Puig's lower driveshaft protector covers it with an aluminium part in a textured black finish.

Who it is for

There is a single part number, 22257N, and it is specific to the R 1300 GS (2023-2026): it does not fit the R 1250 GS or other generations. It makes sense if you go on dirt tracks or stony trails, where the underside of the bike takes knocks that tarmac never delivers. For road use only, the part adds little.

To look after the rest of the GS's underside, combine it with the Puig skid plate and the Puig frame sliders, which cover the sides. For the brand's other parts for the GS, drop in at Puig.
