Sprint Filter P08F1-85 Air Filters

Sprint Filter P08F1-85 air filters are the brand's highest-performance range: dry polyester with racing technology, for riders who push their bike on track or have modified it. It is the P08 with the F1-85 suffix, and you can spot it by a part number ending in «S F1-85».

What changes compared with the P08

The promise of this range is a very high airflow without giving up good filtration. As with any filter, more flow tends to come with less margin against dust, which is why this is the filter for tarmac and the race track, not for dirt routes, for which it is worth looking at the P14 or the T12.

Which bikes have a P08F1-85

Sports bikes are its natural ground: Honda CBR 1000 RR-R and CBR 600 RR, Suzuki GSX-R 600, 750 and 1000, BMW S 1000 RR and HP4, Kawasaki ZX-14R and Ninja H2, Aprilia RS 457 or Yamaha YZF-R3. But there are also parts for nakeds such as the Honda CB650R and KTM 790 Duke, for neo-retros such as the BMW R nineT and for bikes as different as the Indian Challenger, the Honda X-ADV 750 or the Honda Dax 125.

Getting the most from it

On a standard bike the difference will be small; where it shines is with a free-flow or racing exhaust and a tuned ECU. If you have changed the exhaust, ask your tuner whether a map is needed before fitting the filter. For the street and touring, the P08 is usually enough, and the whole brand is in Sprint Filter.
