SW-MOTECH engine crash bars for the BMW R 1200 GS LC (2012-2018) help protect the engine, tank and other components from damage caused by drops and scrapes. Their stainless steel construction also resists weather and corrosion.
The electropolished surface gives the bars a bright finish. Because they are made from stainless steel, scratches to the bars do not compromise corrosion resistance in the way they can with coated steel.
- Tube diameters: 22 and 27 mm.
- Wall thickness: 2.5 mm.
- Fit: model-specific design for a secure connection to the frame.
- Lean angle: shaped to maintain an optimal permitted lean angle.
- Installation: bolts to the frame’s original mounting points.
- Included: two side engine guards.
These crash bars are not compatible with BMW original cylinder guards.
