SW-MOTECH Protection Set for BMW R 1200 GS LC (12-16) ADV.07.783.76003

The SW-MOTECH Adventure protection set for the BMW R 1200 GS LC (2012-2016) brings together components to help protect your bike in a fall and on unpaved tracks. Model-specific construction provides a precise fit while complementing the bike’s styling.

• Lower crash bars: steel construction with 27 mm tubing and a powder coating that resists corrosion and weathering.
• Upper crash bars: 22 mm steel tubing helps protect the fairing. Installation requires SW-MOTECH lower crash bars.
• Engine guard: 4 mm aluminium shields the underside from stones and impacts, with no modifications to the motorcycle required.
• Front extension: three sections of 3 mm aluminium extend protection by up to 130 mm towards the front of the engine block.
• Adventure handguards: aluminium backbones and enclosed, impact-resistant plastic shells provide protection against wind, weather and branches. Steel bar ends reduce vibration.
• Axle sliders: protect the fork and swingarm, using abrasion-resistant polyamide and a TPU coating for impact damping.
• Installation: model-specific fitting to the original mounting points, with instructions and mounting hardware supplied.

Check your bike’s accessories before choosing this set: the lower crash bars are incompatible with original BMW cylinder guards, while the upper bars cannot be used with BMW LED lights. The handguards are not compatible with KOBRA or BBSTORM systems.
