SW-MOTECH V-LOC Side Carriers

The SW-MOTECH V-LOC side carriers are the brand's cleanest system for side bags: they hug the bike and close with a Fidlock® magnetic guide plus a mechanical lock. As you bring the bag close, the magnet pulls it into place and the lock secures it, with no need to line it up by hand.

Which bikes take V-LOC

• Retro and neo-retro: Kawasaki Z900RS and Z650RS, Yamaha XSR700 and XSR900, Triumph Bonneville T100 and T120, Speed Twin, Scrambler 400 X and 1200, BMW R nineT, R 12 and R 12 S, plus Moto Guzzi and Royal Enfield (Continental GT, Interceptor, Classic 650, Bear 650, Himalayan 450 or Guerrilla 450).
• Mid-size nakeds and adventure bikes: Honda CB750 Hornet, CB1000 Hornet and XL750 Transalp; Yamaha MT-07, MT-09 and Ténéré 700; Kawasaki Z650 and KLE500; KTM 390 Adventure and BMW F 450 GS.
• Customs and small bikes: Honda Rebel 500 and 1100, CL500 and GB350S, and Kawasaki Eliminator 500.

Bags and adapters

For many of these bikes there are side bag kits, Legend Gear or SysBag WP, with their V-LOC carriers included; to see other kinds of bag, go to motorcycle backpacks and bags. If the case or bag you like belongs to the SLC system, there are adapters to fit it on a V-LOC carrier.

V-LOC or SLC

Some bikes, such as the Transalp, the MT-09 or the Himalayan 450, have carriers in both systems. V-LOC is the choice for the magnet and the cleanest look; the SLC is the compact carrier for the cases and bags of its own system. Both are ordered left and right separately. All the systems, compared, are in side carriers for cases and bags.
