Puig Swingarm protector kits

The swingarm of an adventure bike takes the scuffs from boots, the stones thrown up by the rear wheel and the wear of every ride. The Puig swingarm protector kit is a set of strongly adhesive vinyl pieces, cut to the shape of each model's swingarm, that absorb those scuffs and leave a touch of colour to match the bike.

What it protects and what it does not

It protects the swingarm's paint and finish from scratches, small impacts and scuffing. It is not crash protection: if you want a rigid part that absorbs the blow, look at the Puig fork and swingarm sliders.

Generations and colours

• BMW R 1200 GS (2000-2012) and R 1200 GS Adventure (2006-2013): white, black and gold.
• BMW R 1200 GS (2013-2018), Adventure (2014-2018) and R 1250 GS and Adventure (2018-2024): white, black and gold.
• BMW R 1300 GS (2023-2026): blue, white, black and gold.
• Ducati Multistrada 1200 Enduro (2016-2018) and 1260 Enduro (2019-2020): black.

Pay attention to the years: although they look alike, each GS generation has its own part number.

How to apply it

With the bike cold, clean and degrease the swingarm. As the vinyl sticks firmly, hold each piece in place dry, line it up before peeling off the backing and press from one end so you do not trap air. To protect the underside of the GS as well, there is the Puig skid plate. The brand's other parts designed for the GS and other adventure bikes are in Puig.
