IXIL RC Exhausts

IXIL RC exhausts are the steel version of the Race Xtrem line: a short, race-style silencer with a stainless steel body in a satin finish that IXIL calls Titanium Look, and a conical carbon fibre end cap. It is the line the brand uses for many of its sportiest fitments, from KTM Dukes to 1000 cc superbikes, and one of IXIL's best sellers.

Satin steel versus black

The RC has its counterpart in IXIL RB exhausts: same silhouette, different finish. The satin body recalls the grey of titanium and lets the carbon cap provide the contrast, so it looks best on brightly coloured bikes, white or orange fairings and exposed frames; the RB is meant for darker builds. For many of these bikes there is also a third, black option, the RC3B, which you will find in the main IXIL listing.

Where the RC fits

KTM is the best-covered brand. There are RC silencers for the Duke and RC 125 and 390, the 390 Adventure, the 790 and 890 Duke and Adventure, the 1290 Super Duke R and GT, the 1390 Super Duke R, the 990 Duke and the 2025-2026 125 Enduro R and SMC R, plus two part numbers that fit several Husqvarna and KTM models and one for the Svartpilen and Vitpilen 701.

Among superbikes you will find the Aprilia RSV4 and Tuono V4 1100, the BMW S 1000 RR alongside the S 1000 R, the Honda CBR 1000 RR-R, the Yamaha R1 together with the MT-10, the R6 from 2016 onwards and the Suzuki GSX-R 1000. Mid-size nakeds include the Z 900, CB 650 R, the Hornet 500, 750 and 1000, the GSX-8S, F 900 R, Tuono 660 and the 2024-2026 MT-09. The Transalp, Ninja 1100 SX, Royal Enfield Guerrilla 450 and models from Voge and Zontes complete the list.

RC and 2RC

On some bikes the name reads 2RC: a variant of the same line that IXIL uses on the Ducati Monster 937, DesertX, Honda Rebel 1100, Triumph Rocket 3 and CFMOTO 750 SR-S. The 2023-2024 CB 750 Hornet gets both, RC and 2RC, so compare the photos on both product pages before deciding which you prefer on your bike.

Like any slip-on, the RC joins the stock header and fits with ordinary tools; if you are unsure whether the version for your bike is road approved, or what an inspection checks, our motorcycle exhausts section explains it. And if you would rather have two outlets than one, the L3XB is the black twin-outlet alternative.
