Accessories for the Honda CRF250RX

The Honda CRF250RX is an enduro bike built for riding away from tarmac. On trails and technical sections, the priorities are different from those of a bike used mainly on the road: exposed areas need attention, controls get plenty of use, and cleaning and maintenance become part of the routine. If a ride also involves road links, it is worth considering how accessories will work in both settings rather than thinking only about the off-road sections.

What riders usually fit to the Honda CRF250RX

• Protectors: stones, branches and low-speed spills are familiar concerns on an enduro ride. Protecting exposed parts of the CRF250RX can help keep an awkward moment on the trail from bringing the day to an early end.
• Levers: clutch and brake inputs are frequent when negotiating slow, uneven ground. Levers deserve particular attention if your riding involves standing up and making small, precise adjustments through technical sections.
• Mirrors: when a route includes stretches of tarmac between trails, a clear view of traffic behind you matters. Their position also matters on a bike you move around on while riding off-road.
• Stands and side stands: a stop out on the trail and maintenance back at home call for different kinds of support. These accessories are useful when you need to leave the bike standing or work on it after a muddy ride.
• Filters: dusty tracks make post-ride checks and upkeep especially relevant. Filters are among the parts to consider as you look after a CRF250RX that regularly spends its days away from paved roads.

Start with the conditions you ride in most often, then think about what needs doing once the bike is back home. That keeps the focus on accessories that serve your actual rides.
