Accessories for the Zontes 125U

The Zontes 125U is a naked bike suited to everyday city journeys and rides along winding country roads. Those two uses call for slightly different priorities. Protection is useful when parking and manoeuvring, while a screen becomes more relevant once you spend longer outside town. A few practical additions can help tailor the bike to the journeys you actually make.

What riders usually fit to the Zontes 125U

• Screens: The 125U's naked layout makes wind protection worth considering if your commute includes open roads. A screen helps redirect some of the airflow away from your upper body, making it a practical addition for longer rides rather than purely urban trips.
• Crash protection: Daily use means regularly wheeling the bike into parking spaces and making low-speed manoeuvres. Crash protectors and bars can help limit damage to the areas they cover if your 125U tips over, although they cannot prevent every possible mark or breakage.
• Mirrors: Keeping track of traffic behind you matters when preparing to change lanes on a city commute. Mirrors also stand out visually on a naked bike such as the 125U, so they offer a way to alter the handlebar area's appearance while retaining an important everyday function.
• Phone mounts: Useful when your usual commute gives way to an unfamiliar address or a country-road route. A mount keeps navigation in view on the 125U; set your destination before you leave and stop somewhere safe if you need to change it.

Choosing parts for a 2024 or 2025-2026 125U

The Zontes 125U has changed over the years, so the 2024 version and the 2025-2026 versions do not always take the same accessories. Crash protection and lighting are particularly relevant examples: parts intended for one version will not necessarily fit the other.
