- Resistor conversion: if replacing filament bulbs changes the flash rate, you can fit one resistor in parallel on each side: 4298O when replacing all four indicators, or 5873O when replacing two, one on each side.
- Relay alternative: identify its location and pin count before fitting a suitable replacement. This is not possible if your motorcycle has no dedicated flasher relay; where several are involved, replacing just one may not solve the issue.
- Hazard lights: resistors prevent correct operation on most models, whereas replacing the relay usually preserves this function.
The Kawasaki Z900/SE 2025 requires the specific resistor kit 22607O. After installation, check the actual flash rate by switching the ignition off, then back on before activating the indicators.
