The Puig Z-Racing screen for the 2009-2014 Yamaha YZF-R1 in carbon-look finish adds a sportier appearance while improving aerodynamic comfort. Its double-bubble shape diverts some of the airflow that would otherwise reach the helmet and upper body.
Two side channels guide air outwards to help reduce pressure on the rider’s shoulders. Developed using virtual wind-tunnel analysis, the Z-Racing range delivers an average aerodynamic improvement of 12.7% in an upright position and up to 61% in a racing position compared with original screens.
