The red Puig Z-Racing screen for the 2009-2014 Yamaha YZF-R1 combines a sporty look with improved wind protection. It is designed to reduce the air pressure on the rider in both upright and racing positions.
Its double-bubble shape redirects airflow away from the helmet and upper torso. Two side channels guide air outwards to help relieve pressure on the shoulders, while Puig has assessed the design using a virtual wind tunnel.
