Highsider Headlights

The Highsider headlights are universal round front lights, with H4 bulbs or LEDs, plus optical units that fit inside the housing of a headlight you already have. There are classic-style designs, such as the Bates Style, British Style or Cruiser, and more modern ones, such as the Comet, Satellite or Dual-Stream, in chrome and in black.

Diameter comes first

• 90 mm: the Bullet, the Twin and the 90 mm lights with bracket, the most compact.
• 114 mm: Indian and Bates Style, the 4.5-inch size.
• 146 mm (5 3/4 inches): Bates Style, Pecos, Circle or Classic 1 Extreme, a typical size on mid-capacity customs.
• 165 mm: the Cruiser.
• 178 mm (7 inches): Reno, Yuma 2, British Style, HD-Style, Frame-R1 and LTD, the ones for classics and big customs.

Complete headlight or optical unit

A complete headlight comes with housing and optics and is fitted with its own brackets. A headlight optical unit, which Highsider makes in H4 and LED, in 90, 120, 130 x 90, 146 and 178 mm, is only the inner part: it replaces the insert of a headlight you already have and keeps its housing, so the diameter has to match yours.

H4, LED and road approval

The H4 is a dual-filament bulb that gives low and high beam from a single fitting, and the LED units carry their own light module. What counts for riding on the road is the E-mark on the part itself: in this section, for example, the 130 x 90 mm H4 unit with a position light is listed as approved. After fitting any headlight, adjust the beam height so as not to dazzle. To mount it there are the Highsider headlight mounts and accessories, and if you want extra light, the Highsider auxiliary lights. The whole brand is on the Highsider page.
