Puig Pro 2.0 Frame Sliders

Puig PRO 2.0 frame sliders, often searched for as Puig Pro engine protectors, are the brand's sportiest-looking line. They are designed for nakeds and sports bikes, and you can spot them straight away by their side fins and the coloured rubbers you can swap whenever you like. They are the evolution of the earlier PRO series.

What sets them apart

• Shape: a body with fins that give it an aerodynamic, aggressive profile, very much in line with today's sports bikes.
• Elastic sections front and rear: rubber parts designed to absorb knocks.
• Interchangeable rubbers in black, grey, blue, red and green, to match the paintwork, footpegs or bar ends.

Black and grey are the most discreet; blue, red and green go with the racing liveries of Yamaha, Honda and Kawasaki.

Bikes with PRO 2.0

The range focuses on mid-size and large nakeds and sports bikes, with the odd sports tourer:

• Kawasaki: Z650, Z800, Z900, Ninja 650, ZX-4R, ZX-6R, ZX-10R and Ninja 1000 SX.
• Honda: CB500F and CB500 Hornet, NX500, CB650R and its E-Clutch version, CB750 Hornet, NC750 and CBR1000RR-R Fireblade.
• Yamaha: MT-07, Tracer 700 and XSR700, MT-09, Tracer 9 and XSR900 GP, YZF-R7 and MT-10.
• Suzuki: GSR750 and GSX-S750, GSX-S1000, Katana and GSX-S950, plus the GSX-R600, 750 and 1000.
• BMW: F 900 R and F 900 XR, S 1000 XR and M 1000 XR, and S 1000 RR.

Several part numbers cover bikes that share a frame and engine, such as 21370N for the MT-09, Tracer 9 and XSR900 GP, or 21266N for the GSX-S1000, Katana and GSX-S950. Watch the years too: the ZX-6R, for instance, has one part number for 2018-2023 and another for 2024-2026.

Repair it piece by piece

The line is designed to be renewed in parts, so a knock does not always mean a new set. Here you will find spare rubbers in all five colours and nylon pucks for M10 (20874N) or M12 (20875N) bolts. Swapping just the rubbers is also the quickest way to change colour, for example when you give the bike a new paint scheme.

If you would rather have a slider that goes unnoticed and covers more models, look at the R19 sliders. The other lines, the engine case covers and the crash bars are in Puig frame sliders, and the general guide is in our frame sliders section covering every brand.
