The blue Puig Z-Racing screen for the Yamaha YZF-R1 (2020-2025) and YZF-R1 Race (2024-2026) replaces the original fairing screen. Its sporty design aims to improve aerodynamic protection and rider comfort.
The double-bubble shape directs airflow away from the helmet and upper torso. Two side channels guide air outwards to help reduce pressure on the shoulders, and Puig assesses the design using a virtual wind tunnel.
